Sharing the spell checker of MS Word with AutoCAD

(R14, A2000, A2004, LT, MD)(10 May, 2003)
If you are using spell checking in Word, you can direct AutoCAD to use the same user dictionary as Word. With this, your user added words would be available both in AutoCAD and in Word. Set the DCTCUST variable to point to your custom dictionary. Example: \Windows\Word\Custom.dic

If you wish the spell checking process always to stop at a particular word (even when correct), add this word prefixed with a tilde (~) to the custom dictionary, using a text editor.
