For the structural drafter the biggest element missing from Revit has been steel modelling tools.

10 years of complaints it is finally here in the Revit 2019 release. An entire ribbon, just for steel.

Hi Allan,

There seems to be a lot of discussion around Revit. I have never used it but having the Steel function looks good. Being more a mechanical based user, I am a big user of Inventor and AutoCAD Plant 3d which has a steel function but really needs some better functions which I can already see in Revit they exist.
