\X and AutoCAD 2006 dimension editing - AutoCAD 2006 Tip

Many of us are use to the \X for text under a dimension line. This still works in AutoCAD 2006 even though when you type it a "?" mark appears.

Step 1. Type DDEDIT.

Step 2. Select existing dimension.

Step 3 Hit the "End" key.

Step 4. Type \X (note: capital X is important) and the words "TEXT UNDER" (for an example)

Step 5. Observe the results
