How to disable particular commands

Internal commands can be disabled (or undefined). Use the _UNDEFINE and _REDEFINE command.

What prefixes are available for commands

(quote mark) Transparency prefix - allows a command to be executed inside another command. Eg 'ZOOM

(dash) Command line prefix - invokes a non-dialog version of a command. Eg -LAYER

_

(underscore) Non-localised command prefix - original English command names in a localised version of AutoCAD. Eg _LINE

(period) Non-redefined command prefix - of commands that have been messed with by a third party, like PLOT or commands that have been undefined using the UNDEFINE command.

(plus) Dialog tab prefix - for selecting a particular dialog tab. Eg '._+DSETTINGS

What are the font control characters in MTEXT?

You may have seen this type of control codes: { \fTahoma|b0|i0|c0|p34}. style='font-family:Arial'> What do they mean?

Sets the font name (TT or SHX)

Switches 'bold' on (1) or off (0)

Switches 'italic' on (1) or off (0)

Sets code page (0=no, 2=symbols; 234=EE; etc.)

Sets font pitch and family

How to point the ADC to a specific directory

Use the ADCNAVIGATE command to point the AutoCAD Design Centre to a specific directory. Note the below macro, and how the path name uses forward slashes.
